If you are looking for a confident, intelligent, loyal, and beautiful poodle to love and be loved, to be an integral part of your family, then please browse the site and information here.
Hi, we are the McKenna family. Originally from Ireland, we now live in the Raleigh NC area. I purchased my first miniature poodle in 2008 and brought her over from Ireland with us in 2011. With our active lifestyle and 3 busy boys, a miniature poodle was the perfect choice for us. When I decided to purchase, and now to breed a litter, I have not discounted the importance of the breed standard. Maintaining proper conformation, termperment and avoiding health issues are of the utmost importance. She came Champions and her Grandfather was Breed Winner at Crufts! Our babies live in the house with us. They are trained and socialized to be the perfect family pet with the conformation to be show dogs.
Our poodles are intelligent. They are playful, interactive, sweet, sometimes calm, sometimes clownish, confident, and well adjusted. Puppies are in our home, not in a kennel, and are well-socialized from birth. We have three sons who are very interactive with the puppies. Clover Hill Poodles practices the BioSensor Program methods for early neurological stimulation. The dogs we breed are proven to meet the established breed standard. By the time your puppy is ready to join your family, it will have been evaluated by an objective third party for temperament, structure and obedience potential.
I am a professional photographer and graphic designer by trade. Most importantly I am a mom of 3 Irish Superheros. I work out of my home devoting most of my time to my family and dogs.
I am the oldest of the 3 McKenna boys and the lead caretaker of Cloverhill Poodles. I plan on being a professional dog breeder and kennel owner when I grow up. Right now I am showing in Jr. Handler and learning to groom.
